ISRO's webinar on INSPACe is further postponed
On July 17, 2020, ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation) released a press briefing where it announced that the webinar on "Unlocking The Space Sector" is further postponed. It said, "Due to unavoidable circumstances the webinar on "Unlocking the Space Sector" rescheduled on July 21 2020 is further postponed. Registration for the webinar will be open, users already registered need not register again". Still it has not announced the revised date of the webinar. But it will announce it shortly. It has provided an email for correspondence, which is in-space@isro.gov.in. The link for the registration for the webinar has been provided by ISRO: https://industrymeet.isro.gov.in.
On June 25, 2020, ISRO announced that it will share its technologies and facilities with the private industries in the space sector in India. It also announced that a national nodal agency, called Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Center (INSPACe) to help the private players in space sector in India and to make India "self-reliant" in global space economy. It said that it will organise an webinar on INSPACe, named as "Unlocking the Space Sector", to share more information about the mechanism of INSPACe and application process. It was a big step towards "self-reliant" India taken by ISRO. Earlier ISRO announced that the webinar will be organised on June 11,2020. But for some unavoidable reasons it was postponed to June 21, 2020.
