ISRO to conduct webinar on INSPACe

Earlier ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) announced that it was going to build INSPACe (Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Center), a national nodal agency, to help the private industries of space sector in India grow. It was a big step taken by ISRO towards "self-reliant" India in space sector. On June 25, ISRO  released a press briefing where it announced the creation of INSPACe which will have its own independent Directorates for Technical,Legal,Safety & security and others. The step will help India to be a significant player in global space economy. It further announced that it will conduct a webinar on Space Sector Reforms to share more details on INSPACe programme, application processes and the mechanism of INSPACe . On July 4, it released an another press briefing where it announced that it will conduct the webinar on July 14,2020. The webinar is scheduled to be from 11:00am to 12:30pm. It said, " Details on the scope of IN-SPACe, institutional mechanism, industry promotion, request application processes, opportunities and roles of NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL) will be shared with Industry, Academia and general public". Many eminent industrialists and Academia will participate as per report. "Webinar will also have a feature of Question/Answer session from panelist consisting of Industrialist/Academia/Start-ups as well as general public" it said. ISRO has provided an email address regarding questions on webinar. The email address is in-space@isro.gov.in. Applicants can submit their requirements to the mentioned email-id.
